Hair loss and Chitosan

Hi all,

Someone asked about when hair loss ends. I had heard month 6 as well,

but I am sliding into month 8 and I am still losing. I am also

growiing little hairs all over my head. My hair is long and it will

be a long while before it grows in to help with thickness.

I am the one who brought up Chitosan. I am trying to add it in the

eveening, but I am not always successful because you are suppose to

take it at least 2 hours after your vitamins and lately my last

vitamin ends up with my bedtime supplements. I can't tell a

difference since I don't have any symptoms. I did have one recent

episode of some sort of reflex. I was asleep and shot right up when I

felt it and it stopped, but my lower throat burned for about 2 hours

and then I remembered the pop thing and took a little Coke ( all we

had) and it really did help. I think it was partly because I have

recently gone from 4 pillows to one or two due to pain in my shoulders

and neck and my new weight distribution. Dr. R. told me numerous

times at clinic and in the hospital that it helps to sleep propped up.

Other than that I am doing fine. I do have days when nothing sounds

good or tastes good and other days where I feel always hungry and feel

like I can eat alot. I find it strange that sometimes 2 bites is all

you can handle and other times a nice sized meal is fine.

Hi Laurie,

I'm trying to get caught up on my e-mails and while I was reading

yours I noticed that you said you sometimes take your last vitamin

with your bedtime supplements. PLEASE don't take any vitamin

containing iron right before you go to bed. Dr. R says we are asking

for trouble when that iron just sits in our stomachs. This may have

be having adverse effects on your stomach. Just thought I would clue

you in.
