Hi Everyone,

The day I 've been waiting for for so long has arrived. I have lost 100

lbs.! My surgery was on August 3, 2000. I look and feel like a new person.

My health has improved so much. I thank God & Dr. Rutledge every day for

giving this opportunity to a new life.

I used to get tired just doing my housework and couldn't walk for more than

10 minutes. I would be short of breath climbing just one flight of stairs.

Getting out of a chair was a struggle & I was afraid to sit in a lawn chair.

My blood pressure was very high, my feet & back hurt all the time, my

cholestrol was high, and my sugar was starting to get high. Now, I have none

of these problems.

Today, I go for long walks with my husband & my dog, I went to an

amusement park & had no problem fitting into the roller coaster seats, I

ride my bike again, and go for rides on my husbands motorcycle, and I can

sit in a lawn chair & not be afraid I might break it.

Today I went shopping to buy a new dress for an upcoming wedding. I saw one

I liked in a size 14, but didn't think it would fit. I decided to try it on

anyway, & it did fit and it was on clearance sale for $15.00! Buying clothes

in smaller sizes is a great feeling, but the best feeling of all is being

healthy.

I have had no problems at all from the MGB and have no regrets.
