Hi, all --

In my continuing saga, I just want to tell you all that if you haven't asked for a copy of your child's cumulative school file including any confidential information -- do so. Stuff that you yourself may have given them specifically for the purpose of going into your child's file may not be there. For instance, a doctor's letter stating that your child's diagnosis requires continued schooling, therefore no ESY could really screw things up for him or her, might not be there! Who knows what else should be in there that isn't.

Just a little word to the wise...

Off to the doctor's to get another note that will likely vanish into thin air....
