Governor-Elect Ted Strictland has created a website with information on the transition process. Of special interest is that Ohio Governor-elect Ted Strickland and Transition Chair Mayor today announced the Strickland-Fisher Transition leaders who will convene state government review teams to evaluate current practices and report their findings to the new administration. Detailed information on the transition team, as well as lots of other information on the transition process is provided - visit http://govelect.ohio.gov.

Mayor Announces Launch of Strickland-Fisher Transition Web site

Official Transition Office to Open in Riffe Center Monday

Columbus, Ohio—Strickland-Fisher transition chair Mayor today announced the launch of an official transition Web site. Those seeking information related to the Strickland-Fisher transition, including news, employment and volunteer opportunities, and contact information will be directed to http://govelect.ohio.gov.

"This Web site is the one-stop information source for those interested in the transition process," said . "We invite Ohioans from across the state to offer not only their skills and service but also their ideas and suggestions on how best to turnaround Ohio."

The Web site will give Ohioans the opportunity to submit comments or policy suggestions, upload resumes and apply for positions in the new administration and find contact information for the transition office.

The official Strickland-Fisher transition office will open in the Riffe Center on Monday.
