Sorry, but I can't be much help finding a restaurant for Friday night.

I'm sure we could find any number of restaurants here in Wichita if

everybody's up for a little commute!

My suggestion as far as the number for reservations would be to create

a database on the list (like Beth and Glo have done for the picnic).

That way, you have a good idea how many plan on attending. I'd be

happy to help set it up if you'd like.

I have NEVER Karaoked or even been around a karaoke machine! I would LOVE to

see one and love to hear you sing too! Unfortunately, without alcohol (I'm

only 6 months at picnic time) I can't drink so I wouldn't have the nerve!

The Golden Corral in Durham I would think could accommodate us, couldn't

they? They did when I was there 2 days before my surgery. We had a room all

to ourselves, but we didn't have 50 people there either. I'm not sure how

many were there, to tell you the truth. They were very nice there, too.

I think they probably could --- if someone local could call that

particular one it would be great. Otherwise - I vote we do our own

things for supper and plan on meeting back at the Hawthorn (where almost

all of the out-of-towners are staying) and party until they make us go

to bed - either in the lobby where they serve breakfast or on the patio

(if it is warm enough).
