Wow, you're going all out! That's great! Can't wait to see your

post when all the surgeries are done.

My TT is scheduled for Jan. 3rd. I was going to have the thighs

done, too, but am trying to figure out how to pay for it. I am so

blessed that the TT is covered by insurance.

How many weeks recovery are they telling you for all 3 PS? Make sure

to get good pain meds!

Hi Bern,

The thighs would actually be much cheaper to have done at the same time if

the insurance is paying for the tummy tuck. That way, the operating room and

all related charges would be included. You should only have a surgeon's fee!

Hi ,

I'll save around $1,000 having it done the same day. It is going to

cost $4,700. Have the surgeon's fees, anesthesia fee for another 3

hours, and 1/2 off the operating room charge for a thigh lift. No

complaints here, though, especially since the TT is covered. How are

your thighs now? I remember one was quite swollen. You've gained 10

lbs. - how did that happen? A size 6 is still quite skinny, but it

is scary to think we can gain again. I remember reading somewhere

that we lose for a long time and then have some slight regain as our

bodies adjust. So, I am prepared to regain some of the weight, no

more than 10 lbs. I hope.

Hi again Bern,

Hey, at least that's a thousand bucks saved!! Wow, 3 hours for the thighs

huh? I don't remember how long mine took. My left leg still looks different

from the right and I will have a revision on Dec. 27th. I must have this done

before the end of the year as I'm losing my wonderful insurance. They will

pay for the OR and the surgeon's fee is on the house. Now I'm trying to think

of something else I can lift...(LOL)...what a shame to have to go under for

just a thigh revision...may as well add a boob lift or butt lift. Dr. Lambeth

said they could easily do this outpatient in their own OR, but my insurance

will pay if I'm in the hospital.

I have gained this 10 pounds since I went back to work on Sept. 10th. I don't

know why, but I've gotten in the bad habit of snacking every day. I never did

this before the MGB surgery!! I feel as bad carrying these 10 pounds around

as I did carrying 50 before. I surely don't want to ruin my flat new tummy so

I need to get back on the protein drinks I did for 2 years. They did seem to

help and I didn't crave carbs like I do now. Hell, I don't even think I crave

them...I've just been wanting to eat all the time. It has become a habit now

and you know what that means!

The best of luck on your surgery. You deserve it! Please keep us informed!!
