Guest guest
Way to go, Lynda. Are you aware you're WAY above Dr. R's high end weight loss predictor??? The high end for you @ 2 months is 40 lb. I thought that 56 sounded fantastic, so I checked it for you. That's awesome! Looks like you're going to be one of the " fast losers. " My weight loss has been far greater than my wildest dreams. I've changed into a totally new body in only 7 months (and I'm not talking about the baby growing in there making it new either <grin>). I'm so happy for you. You have always been a favorite to me when I'd read your messages on the post op group. I'm so glad you were able to get your surgery. And with only two months under your belt you're already into the 100's. Bet you'll be surprised about those jeans you think will fit for a while because they're elastic waisted. At some point they will just hang from the waist. I tried on a pair of capri's I have and was going to wear them to work one day... OH MY GOSH! They looked ridiculous! I couldn't believe how big they were on me. Won't be wearing them anymore. Congratulations on a great 2 months (excluding your bowl obstruction, of course). Love, in OK mgb 3/29/2001 303/183 -120 In a message dated 11/07/2001 12:23:55 PM Pacific Standard Time, p8nlady@... writes: << Well here it is. Two whole months since I had my initial surgery in ol' Vegas. Except for the celebrated bowel obstruction, I am doing fine now. I can eat just about anything. I haven't eaten any bread, except for just a bite of a Red Lobster biscuit. <grin> Yep, tasted great. I love water. Takes the place of the formerly ever present Dt Pepsi.Only thing with this has been our municipal water system tends to over chlorinate the water quite frequently, so I stick to Sam's water from Wally World. That's about as cheap as you can get for store bought. I made buy me a reverse osmosis system but it still sits waiting to be installed. The one thing I need to do is get my supplements started. I've toyed with it. Last week I decided to get really serious and tried three pills. I threw them up. So I'll start again. I have been having problems with depression, on top of the four capsules I already take. So I called the office today and asked if Trish could call me in a script for the patch. Last week I went shopping for a few clothes. All of my jeans were hanging on by smidgeon. I can still wear most of my blouses. So I got three tops, a pant suit and four pairs of jeans. The jeans are so comfy, they are stretch and pull up with elastic around the top. So I should be able to wear them through several sizes. And the best news of all. I've lost 56 pounds. Just tickles me pink. Hugs, Lynda ~ Dr Zinni Sept. 5, 2001~ 196/240 >>
