Guest guest Posted June 20, 2001 Report Share Posted June 20, 2001 Hi everyone, Just thought I would give my MGB Family a quick update on my progress. (Hope my littermates are reading as well) My weight loss has been a bit bizarre but I'm not complaining! The first week I dropped around 8 pounds and every week after that I have lost two - three pounds. It's been four months and I have lost a total of 43 pounds. No plateau's -just a slow and constant weight loss from week to week. I eat a variety of things but stay away from carbs (they don't do well with my tummy and fill me up way to fast) and sweets (they make me feel icky!). I just recently started putting more effort into my exercise program. I was walking at least three times a week but felt it wasn't really 'enough'. So I joined the gym at work and got myself on a workout program doing 30-45 minutes of Cardio and 15 minutes of weights (mostly upper body). I try to get to the gym every morning between 6-7AM I have gone from a size 26 to a baggy size 22 so I think I've lost a lot of inches but haven't done measurements recently. I'm going to try to attend the support meeting this month and hand in some really nice clothes that I hope to never ever wear again Thanks for Listening -my thoughts and prayers with everyone..
