Guest guest
Awww, JP. What joy your posting gave me! I am so glad that you continue to head downward in the weight department. Amy will have her daddy so much longer than she would have otherwise. So proud of you. About the body " part " , I think relativity plays a major role here. Everything looks so much bigger against a smaller backdrop! And we all know, the major sexual organ is the brain. With your smaller size, and corresponding agility, why I shudder to think what you may " come up with! " Be well. Be happy. Warmly, PhillyJude MGB 11-3-00 263/196 and stuck! Guest guest
HI JP! Congratulations on you great achievement. It sounds as though you are doing great. I really dig your differentiation between the small " d " diet and the big " D " diet. I see a paradigm shift and you have coined a new MGBism. Henceforth, one and all will be able to talk about their diet without anyone saying that Dr. R. said we didn't have to Diet. Beautiful. Dr. Bill Movin' On Down . . . > Well, FINALLY, the " 3's " are gone and the " 2's " are here!!! Did my monthly weigh-in and now I am within 100 lbs of my goal. Sounds like a lot, but given where I started I am not complaining. The folks at the Health Center were amazed. Said I looked great - probably because I'm finally wearing > clothes that actually fit and are only big enough for one. Still about 9 lbs gone this month, still slower than I want but I'm NOT complaining. At this rate I'm expecting to be where I'd like to be (about 225) by New Year's Day / my MGB Anniversary (1/5) or Valentine's Day 2002 - and wearing a size > 34/36 to boot. If I can stabilize there and have the apron removed (along with a few other modifications) I'm expecting to be between 190-200 and will be a VERY happy camper. > > Still feel great and still adjusting to new " diet " (small " d " indicating a nutritional intake as opposed to the " Big D " where I had to count calories, eat grapefruits for seven days or stand on my head drinking warm goatmilk .... you get the idea). Salads, fruit and some meat are fine, but > carbohydrates as a group still seem to give me the most problem. Some of my favorites are losing favor - pizza and cheese ravioli especially. After losing over 250 lbs - with about 100 to go - suffice it to say I'd be in another line of work, but it does make a major difference (to which my wife will attest with a big grin). > > That's my monthly update. Guest guest
Congratulations! Well done! As for the " side effects, " I TELL all women I meet about the 1 " /10lbs. rule, adding that I'm closing in on 90 lbs lost, but then I'm afraid to show the pudding in which the truth is!
