Guest guest
O., Thanks for the information. I'd love to hold out on the hernia repair at least until next spring. We'll see what the doctor says. At least I'll talk to him about some sort of support system (something akin to the buttresses that hold up Notre Dame!!) for my sagging stomach. As for the picnic, I'm still undecided. I have to make up my mind pretty soon. My husband thinks I should go - he usually gets his way! Guest guest
, Before you do that, research Prozac and see if many patients report weight gain or hunger all the time. That might not be the problem. My mother takes Prozac and don't seem to have a problem with weight gain, but I'm sure it can affect each person differently. Good luck! Guest guest
Wellbutrin is one that some doctors are prescribing to aid people in losing weight now, also. This is what my Pychiatrist told me herself. Check with your doctor and see if he/she thinks Wellbutrin could be right for you. in OK
Guest guest
, My hunger didn't last....who knows what it was that day? Nerves?? ANyhow, I don't think it is the prozac, but the prozac doesn't seem to be doing the trick! When I go to the Dr. for my 6 month checkup next week, I'm going to ask him about the patch. It's the depression that is the problem~~not the eating. I did have a day of all out hunger and wanting to munch, but thankfully that passed and I'm now back to normal (whatever that is! HAHA) Thanks for caring! HUGS in ARk

Guest guest
Well, glad to hear the hunger didn't last, but sorry to hear about the depression continuing. I've been very depressed since Sunday. Have had crying spells the past few days, but I'm determined to get to feeling like the Old .... Happy and Carefree! That's one thing people always comment about me, is that I'm always happy and cheery. Boy, wouldn't I LOVE to feel that way again! I can't wait to see you in LESS THAN A MONTH! I'm so looking forward to it. Are you staying at Hawthorn? I'm sharing a room with from Virginia Beach, who just happens to be my angel that has allowed this all to happen. Guest guest
Oh, yes, there are pros and cons to most everything, I feel that I will take the risk in order to have better mental health. also, my mother has osteoporosis so I want to preclude myself from getting that.
