Guest guest
Hey Becky, I may be off the mark here but the thing that comes to mind is jealousy. Anyway he could be jealous of the baby and have problems expressing it?Could this be attention seeking?
Guest guest
Hi Becky, Jealousy could come into play. My other thought is, has he ever experienced the slightest bit of incontinence or had even a tiny amount of staining in his underware? If so, maybe he remembers the discomfort and is just trying to see if slipping a diaper into his pants might shield him from feeling dirty. We girls have panty liners...what do the guys have? If this is the case, I'd say that he's a pretty creative guy!!!! He also just may have been goofing around and it's a one time thing.... either way, your boy is a chatacter and although I've never met him, I just love him!!!! -Trish --- In , becky griggs <sleeplessohio@...> wrote: > > Hi all, > > The siezure nurse called back and said they wanted to place on Baclofen .5 mg at bedtime to see if this helped. I quickly reminded her that Baclofen was tried a few years ago by orthopedist and it increased siezures. She said that they have reviewed this and this is a smaller dose. She said that with past history when we try to take meds away that the doctor does not wnat to go any faster than he is. has been taking this now for a week and it has helped some, though he does still sometimes complain that he is shaking and we have seen it at times. But not as much as it was last week. No increase in siezures either so maybe this is a short term answer. > > NOW FOR THE WEIRD QUESTION! has been potty trained completed since was almost 7. I went to get the last diaper I had in his bag and it is gone. I know by now that if diapers are missing to look for a stuffed animal and find the duck tape ( to put the diaper on the Mason). No stuffed animals wearing the diapers so I asked where the diaper was and he puts to his backside. Sure enough has the diaper on..well as much as it can be on with as small as they are. I asked what in the devil are you doing wearing a diaper?? He says he does not know. Well I sure don't know either! Anyone have any ideas?? > > > Becky > Mother to , 15, Autism, Epilepsy, Cerebal Palsy, MR > > Everybody has barriers and obstacles. Guest guest
Sally, I don't know. He loves having his nephews and niece over and gets upset if they do not come over. Every day he asks if one of them are coming over and if we say not today he whines and complains half the day. I guess anything is possible. Guest guest
LOL... Never thought of it that way. Your right guys don't have much for this. The rare times he has wet the bed have always been tied to a siezure. I havent noticed stained boxers or sheets...though withjust turning 16 this is something we thought about and don't know how we will approuch it with him BeckyTrish <minniemimi1@...> wrote: Hi Becky, Jealousy could come into play.
