Guest guest
Oh, my God. Can I ask a dumb question? If the IEP coordinator said you take up more of her time than any other parent, why would they choose to accuse you of neglect? Don't neglectful people tend to ignore too many things? If that's the case, wouldn't you take up the least amount of her time? You mentioned that you were doing battle with them over medical legal issues -- why would they not have a school nurse, by the way? I would think in their particular case they might have to dole out some meds during the course of the day. Who does that then? Anyway, do you have a lawyer? I ask because maybe they are retaliating against you for bringing up issues they don't want to deal with (they can't do that, by the way...well, not legally). If it turns out that it is retaliation, you'd have a case, I'd think. Which is why I ask about the lawyer. You might want one anyway, now that they've called children's services. You also said your son needs the school for social reasons. Is there another school he could go to? For me, I would consider this a HUGE breach of trust, and would find my relationship with the school irreparably harmed. Geez...hang in there. May things get way better for you very soon. --Suzanne
Guest guest
I agree with Suzanne, looks like the school thought you were going to call CSB on them, so they called. Geesh, this got out of hand quickly. I also would have to think hard about him going back there, scary. And, why oh why do social workers think cleanliness is next to godliness. Give me a messy house with loving parents anytime over a sterile environment. Could they hire more clueless social workers?? You ought to be able to show up at social workers house unannounced like they do yours. I'll bet they look just like ours do. ----- Original Message ----- From: SBShaft@...
