Guest guest
Larice: You've got the prayers for sure. And you are right, it will pass. You know the old saying that God never closes a door unless he opens a window...but as we know...the hallways are hell. LOL...you'll be fine! We'll all be fine. Guest guest
Larice, You are so right, it will pass. But durn it's frustating, huh? And probably, when it does, you will lose big time. So perhaps a glimmer at the end of the tunnel. You are in my thoughts. How is that pink outfit? Probably way to big for ya. Guest guest
Larice, I seem to remember that my 4th or 5th month I also was on a long plateau. However, when i measured my inches for that month I lost more inches than the previous 2 months together. Hang tight!! Lost inches is just as good as lost pounds. Guest guest
Larice, I have had several plateaus. Feb, March and April were slow for me. I would go for about 3 weeks with no loss at all. Then all of a sudden I dropped 10 lb in a week. My over all loss from Feb 1 to May 21 was 31 lbs. At the time it felt like I was not loosing at all but when you take a step back and look at the whole picture you may find it was not as bad as you thought. It still seemed that the more I ate the more I lost. I have found I seemed to better when I eat more protein and less carbs. But all in all it just seems to drop when it is good and ready. I think our bodies need some adjustment time. I am 8 mo out and I have lost 106 lbs and am very happy with my wt loss. I wish I could stay off the scales and only weigh monthly or weekly. Because the day to day will drive ya nuts. I do weigh and measure at the Curves for Women monthly, and it helps me to see the monthly totals. Hang in there it will drop. Guest guest
Larice, You're gonna move on down real soon. Gar-own-teed! Just enjoy life, and eat, and off it will come when it gets good and ready. It's how I lose. Stop and go. Stop and go. But, at the end of a month, it's gone! Take care dear heart. Guest guest
Larice, I agree totally with the Peej. I thought I was plateau-ing but really it came off by the end of the month. I haven't changed clothes size for awhile, but then I only usually do that every 20 lbs or so! Our best bet, Larice, is to only weigh once a month !! Those damn scales will get us down every time! Best to ya', Trude Re: Plateau City Larice, You're gonna move on down real soon. Gar-own-teed! Just enjoy life, and eat, and off it will come when it gets good and ready. It's how I lose. Guest guest
Don't sweat it it's just a plateau. My last one lasted 3 weeks. Maybe switch around your exercise routine or add more veggies/less meat?H <whanscom@...> wrote: I'm stuck. After a month and a 10 pound loss, I'm stuck. I've recorded all I've been eating, I'm between 1,300 and 1,400 calories a day. I weigh 290. I've excerised more. I've drank more water. Today I'm going to try less salt. Anybody have any other hints? or ideas when it might break? -Sapphyre Feel Free to Visit: www.geocities.com/asmallersapphyre www.livejournal.com/users/changescomin Love cheap thrills?
