Roxanna,

thanks for posting this website. I checked it out last night and love

the demos! I think I will order a couple of CDs - the price is very

reasonable if you can burn the CDs yourself!!! Great resource - thanks

again.

Evan just began exploring the computer in more functional ways. He

quite comfortably began to manipilate the mouse this weekend and

enjoyed the software I have for him greatly. I think that the DMSA

must be working BIG TIME as his motor skills, mostly fine motor skills

but also oral motor and gross, have improved so much over the past

weeks. Now he is able to manipulate the mouse better, eats better

with a fork, quite with an ease while before it would always have to

be a hand-over-hand deal with much crying and resistance...now he just

picked up the fork and ate with a grin :-) Also, he was able to now

blow all the whistles, any kind of whistles with such pride and a

smile that swept me off my feet. He also was able to whistle using his

lips alone, really nicely! As far as speech, he began

talking 'jibrish' in answer to my explanations and direction (too many

of those, of course), which is developmentally encouraging I think!

Slightly better word approximations this weekend, super appropriate

play and minimal meltdowns; much better sleep; phenomenal spontaneous

eye contact and much better comprehension overall. He also discovered

the kitty this weeekend, chasing it around persistently, something I

haven't seen for months.

He was such a proud and accomplished little guy this weekend! And us,

well, very proud, of course, yet still with a little bit of disbelief

that things ARE indeed improving for our little guy...:-)

Just had to share this :-)
