Hi Group,

I don't post very often, but I feel like I know all of you from

reading everyday. It is such a wonderful comfort to have a board

like this to see that everyone who has had the MGB is doing well and

we're all like sisters and brothers on this road back to wellness.

Anyway, here's my update. As of this morning, I have lost 90

pounds! I am thrilled beyond words. I know that I would never

gotten this weight off without this surgery (thank you Dr.

Rutledge). I am feeling well and eating well too!

Thanks for sharing your accomplishment.

I am not far behind you.

I keep thinking that if I can just get a Two hundred and twenty anthing I

will be happy.

I seem to get stuck for weeks then drop a few more pounds.

I feel so alone sometimes with not having lost a hundred already.

I am happy for what I have lost. and I need to be reminded of how much I have

gained.

Anita: You don't think 93 pounds in 7 months is wonderful. I do. I am

right at 100 pounds in 10 1/2 months I am happy to get that. I have a pulled

muscle in my side and went to my pcp today. Two ladies walked in and were

using his scales to weigh and I could tell they were not so happy with their

weight loss. I did something I have never done before and spoke up and said

Ladies I did something for myself in November of last year that I can

honestly say was the best thing I ever did. I gave them the clos internet

addy. They asked a few questions and left. When I went to the car they

were there talking about the surgery and the possiblities of them having the

surgery. I wished them luck and left them there talking. I probably will

never talk to them again and felt very good afterward. Phyllis

I am at 102 lbs in 15 MONTHS!!!!!!! So stop complaining and enjoy the ride.
