Actually, my BP is just fine - it went from borderline high right before

surgery to absolutely

normal afterwards - also, I've had no dizziness or dehydration type

symptoms. I am glad

to hear that someone else has seen a drop in their pulse though - this all

just kind of

came up out of of the blue....

Re: Slow Heart Beat

My pulse has slowed significantly from upper 70's preop to low 50's

postop. My PCP, who took the measurements, was unconcerned. Like

you, I feel better than ever.

I was more concerned with the dramatic drop in my blood pressure,

from 130+/80 to 112/64, which in and of itself is a good thing, but

might explain very occasional momentary dizzy spells. (I simply sit

down when that happens and try to eat something salty. I feel better

right away.) As long as the spells remain rare I'll ignore them.

How's your BP?

My BP started at something like 140/90, then dropped to the 90/60 range

about halfway through my weight loss. I also had momentary dizzy spells

when standing up too fast, etc. Now that I'm done with my weight loss it

has steadied itself at 125/75 and is rock solid (and perfectly average).

Can't beat that! I also can't complain that my cholesterol is around 130,

my HDL is around 60, and my LDL and triglycerides are like those of a

20-year old vegetarian :)

Packs,

Steve
