Guest guest
Hey all, This is my first post in 5 years. I had a cwu back then and had a 2 1/2 inch c-toma removed. My pics are posted under shawn's ear, should you wish to see. Well 6 months ago we had an ear infection which we killed with ciproflaxacin and ciprodex drops. Well the infection returned and as of 1 month I have used 100-1500 milligrams a day of ciproflaxacin as well as ciprodex drops and another compound of boric acid and alcohol drops. Well, the Ct scan showed the infection, as well as possible ctoma, and now we go from a cwu to a cwd. Will I get more dizzier at ear cleanings than I currently do? Will I fight headaches and dizzy bouts now? What about wind or water in my ear? We didn't discuss a meteoplasty being done either, those sometimes not done in a cwd? UGH even the doc was suprised, he said " you were doing so well " and I said " you would think a tumor that big wouldn't have anything left. " He didn't think my hearing would get worse, do they not always do reconstruction or second looks with a cwd? Thanks all for reading all this and helping with my questions. Guest guest
I can't answer all of your questions but my son had a CWD in Feb 09. He is not allowed to get water in his ear. We have 3 custom ear plugs so that we can ALWAYS find one. He has not had any dizziness or headaches that he has complained of. I can't say about the cleaning as ours is scheduled for Dec. Good Luck with everything > > Hey all, > > This is my first post in 5 years. I had a cwu back then and had a 2 1/2 inch c-toma removed. My pics are posted under shawn's ear, should you wish to see.
