My Joy for this morning!!! And Davey's camp update too!

Just thought I would share my joy with you.

Camp's going well for Davey! This was our 3rd week and has been as good as that first day! I totally love those moments of wonderful joy for the little accomplishements my son does.

This morning after I gave him a goodbye kiss he started walking away then looked back at me and with good eye contact and said "See you later Mom"...and it was clear speech and I didn't have to wonder did he really say or mean that? It seemed to be right from his heart and not scripted or something he had to do. It makes me so proud of him and so joyful. What 4 words could mean so much!!! Love and accomplishment at the same time!!!! IT is totally worth everything I put into his care!!!

At camp, my son is following the program, making crafts, and participating in the programs, this is so good. He's even got a staff for buddy, where they sing fragmented songs together where the staff guy sings a few words and Davey follows up with what is next!!! That is so cool.

There's definately so much hope we can have for our children. Faith and persistance, I've been doing this for over 3 years. And sometimes it just takes awhile but we can get there. oppps, I'm getting on a soap box......

Well, anyway, I hope everyone is doing well....my heart is just so full right now....
