Anybody not have symptoms and still got the surgery?

I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago...and I've scheduled the surgery for November 20th.

Now as the time is going along, I'm having a more difficult time with this. I

don't have any symptoms. I wish my ear hurt etc. Anybody not have symptoms and

got the surgery?

I keep thinking maybe it was a mistake. I've read online about discharge etc.

and I don't have anything.

Can you tell I've never had surgery before and trying to figure out why I'm

going to do this. My ear won't feel better after surgery...I know I should be

glad that I had the CT scan and they discovered it...but yet if I hadn't, I feel

fine and wouldn't be tortured right now. I've never been an obsessive person but

I can't enjoy myself...between this and my husband losing his job Oct 2nd, I'm

in complete turmoil
