Guest guest
My prayers are with each and everyone of you this Holiday season and every day of the year. I have a son who is 34 years old and has had this problem since he was 4 years old. According to what I have read this C-toma begins with dead skin that lies in the ear and when moisture hits it, it rots and causes infections and the C-toma feeds on this rotting infectious flesh. That is why KEEPING THE EAR DRY is so important. Lambs wool is good for putting in the ear with a little vasoline to keep moisture out if you don't have a custom fit ear plug. Use it when showering, washing your hair. Get a custom fit ear plug for swimming if your allow your child and or yourself to go swimming. I would even use a tie over it, they make bands, just to be extra careful. Perhaps the best way to cure this monster would be to start a fund to raise money for research so as to speed along a cure. I just wish I knew how to do this. C-tomas have been around a long time and you would think someone would have found a cure, especially with what they know about it today. Perhaps someone reading this knows or has access to such a fund or can start one. Kathy
