It is important to have the 2nd look surgery done even if Kara is

showing no symptoms of recurrence. Katelyn showed no symptoms but

the ctoma had returned and eroded her malleus bone. This was only 7-

8 months after her 1st surgery. It is very difficult to get all the

cells. Katelyn was back playing soccer 4-5 weeks after her 2nd

surgery with no problems.

Candy, How old is your daughter?Thanks for al the informatlion and

support. I know this intelelctually, I guess this is still rlatively new

(she was diagnosed 7 months ago) and it is a lot of painful realities. It

helps having this group so much! Kara is startign basketball and will go

iceskating tomorrow. She is very active. Sallie
