Guest guest
In Oct 2002 I had " adult " tubes (term used by my ENT) inserted and he said they last years. Is there something more permanent? I've read a few posts that have mentioned permanent tubes.... My left ear had the c-toma...thankfully my right eardrum was only retracted with no sign of c-toma. Since the tubes were put in and doc says it has since shifted to a more normal position. As I have eustacian tube deficiency, I think that means lifelong tubes for me and the less surgery the better! (Yes, I will freely admit that I am a MAJOR WIMP when it comes to anything to do with my ears...and as a 25 year old I went to the hospital to get tubes put in as I'm too anxious to have them put in at the doctor's office.)
