The Ohio State University in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, the Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy, the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, are sponsoring a two-day seminar on universal design and visitability. Planners, designers, planning commissioners, elected officials, disability professionals and the general public all can benefit from this conference. ..........................................................The response to the upcoming Universal Design and Visitability: FromAccessibility to Zoning Conference on July 13th and 14th, 2006 has beenfabulous. At this time we only have a handful of spots left in theon-site version of the conference. However we are simultaneouslyoffering the conference in an on-line format. The on-line version of the conference will work very similarly to theon-site version. You will login to the conference site and select thesession you would like to listen to. Participants will be able to viewand hear the conference as it happens. Participants can type inquestions that will be answered by the speakers. You can easily movefrom session to session. Best of all the sessions will be archived, soif you miss a session you can come back and listen to it later.The early registration deadline is July 1st. The conference fee is $100for professionals and $40 for students.
