Guest guest
Hi: If you have amalgam fillings in your mouse, the pulses creates a current in your mouth. A current running between to places in the mouse will create a metallic taste, just like the one produced by liking a nail. Guest guest
we get the same taste without any fillings, and even with electrodes placed on the neck, also. this doesn't account for it, sorry. bG > > > Hi all, that misterious metal taste that we've been getting in our > > mouths when zapping the gums or teeth? Guest guest
how long has it been since surgery? - is this new symptoms? - it sounds related to a cholesteatoma to me (but I am not a doctor) - exactly 3 months after surgery my eye and mouth started twitching for several weeks - I went to the doctor and he told me because the surgery is delicate and with so many nerves close by that it takes weeks/months for nerves to settle down - if I had numbness I would call the doctor and let him know - I did suffer from bell's palsy 6 months before surgery and this definitely sounds nerve related - maybe you have some kind of inflamation that is pressing on a nerve. Take Care and Call Your Doctor! Guest guest
Hi, I had both the numbness and metal taste after my surgery. Don't be overly concerned, it does return to normal slowly as time passes. > > i have a metal taste in mouth and my tongue is partially numb along with the corner of my lips....on the side that i had cholesteatoma...is this some thing related...should i be worried >
