I have some great news! We will have a weekly live chat! I'm preparing to start our weekly chats once again with P2ParentsChat and would love if you could join us. (info listed below)

I remember 4 years ago when I started the chat group how great it was to chat with other parents on Wednesday evenings! It was an evening to look forward to because I had found other parents who were going through pretty much the same thing I was going through. While chatting I was able to think of questions based on what someone else mentioned. It's amazing how much everyone knows about something!

So to start I'm going use the same basic schedule for chats as I had designed back then and I think it will be great.

Registration will follow but I need you to sign up for the chats you are interested in attending, you can attend one or all of them if you wish. (This will help me to determine how to better organize our chat rooms). I'd like to keep each topic to a small group of 7 or less people so I may open more than one specific topic room if we have over 10 people for one topic. (unless we have a special guest speaker in our chat room, in that case I'll have a large group in one specific topic room). I'll always have a 2nd chat room for open topics for those not interested in that topic for that week. (this will be contingent upon the number of people that show up for the chats also.)

See the chart listed below for topics and dates and think about which ones you will like to attend. I'm going to send out a registration for the chats soon and you can choose which you will attend. These are free chats and free registration of course.

Weekly Internet Chats are Wednesday Evenings - 9:30pm to 10:30pm Eastern Standard Time.

Here is the information for the weekly chats:

(We may or may not have a special guest for the chats a notice will be sent out if we have a professional join our chat. Otherwise these are parent experienced based chats.)

There may be up to 3 chat rooms that are running simontaniously. You have a choice of which chat room for each week you are interested in.

Topic Discussions every month are as follows:

First Wednesday of the month.

For Northeast Ohio Residents in the group:

Chat room 1. Follow-up chat for ASGC meeting. This chat will be a follow-up for the (Autism Society of America meeting.) Alot of times there isn't much time for parents to stay and chat about the topic that was presented at the meeting. This will provide parents time to discuss and talk about the topic that was presented at the meeting.

There will be a handout reminder or a sign-up sheet for the chat at each meeting.

Chat room 2. Open topic - or follow-up from the last weeks chat.

2nd Wednesday of the month -

Chat room 1. Dietary Interventions, supplements, probiotics and enzymes

3rd Wednesday - Schooling Issues and Home Schooling.
