Why are ear drops so expensive?

I had a some ear drops before the surgery. Man it makes the ear burns

for hours. Could not sleep due to the pain. The dr said it was

bothering the tumors and hole in ear drum. I was told last week to

start it again. This time for a month. I guess to keep the infection at

bay and get the packing soft. It doing the same thing. Called the

doctor and he sent for new one. At 90$ a pop. I have no insurance to

cover the meds. he has no samples. I can not afford it at the moment.

We do not qualfiy for assistant. Hubby and I make 100$ to much a month

for help. I get my regular meds from drug companies free of reduce

cost. Hubby get his from the va and he take 11 pills for heart failure.

As you see now I am stuck taking this arwful drop till the 6th of

September.
