Guest guest
Hi, Does anyone that has had a revision mastoidectomy know how long after surgery before you can pop your ears by holding your nose plugged?? I was just curious as in the past it has opened up my ears for better hearing and I was just wondering if I am allowed to do it again. I did pose the question to my doctor and am waiting to hear back from him... I am 8 weeks 4 days post op left ear and 4 months 2 weeks right ear... Thanks! Guest guest
I can pop my ear that doesn't have the ctoma, but the one currently has the ctoma it does not pop...period. Seems solid as a rock in there.
Guest guest
Just before my first surgery, I could rub the side of my face near my ear and I could hear all kind of weird crackly sounds. Thankfully that all went away post-surgery. There was a ton of damage with the first surgery ... it had been there for years apparently.
