Guest guest
That's wonderful, n, many more wonderful camp days for Davey, and you! I'll post an update soon, but wanted this to be Davey's day. ----- Original Message ----- From: DMHelmick1@... Sent: Monday, June 19, 2006 6:24 PM Subject: [ ] Davey's first day at camp! Davey's first day at camp! Davey took it all in stride as I was abit nervous about his first day at camp. (is that great that he took it in stride? ) My son Davey is attending the Champ Camp run by the Achievement Centers in Highland Hills. I assume he had a good day because he was fine when I picked him up. He can't express his thoughts verbally yet but he can use words and phrases or answer yes and no questions so far. Davey participated in the activities without leaving the group or wandering! That is very cool! Well, this is only day 1 and we have 7 weeks and 4 days to go hopefully it will be so well the rest of the summer..... we will see. Let us know how you and your family are doing, I hope your children are doing well and will have a nice summer! Yours Truly, n

Guest guest
Woohoo!!! So glad to hear about Davey's first day at camp being a sucess. Keep us updated on his adventures. Noah hasn't started yet. His first day is July 5th and it runs for 5 weeks. I forgot that he will be in the pre-school group. Will let you know how things go when he starts! -Trish > > Davey's first day at camp! > > Davey took it all in stride as I was abit nervous about his first day at > camp. Guest guest
Yeah, Davey! Glad to hear things are going so well! Monday was Bobby's first day of camp, too. He says it is great, but it isn't what he expected. Camp - with no tents, no swimming pools, no mud. This morning he called it summer school (they have math and reading in the morning). Well, I thought this camp was a perfect fit for my son when we signed up in February, but at least he is enjoying it. He also seems very spent by the end of the day (7 hours). Next year, I'll try and find something more recreational and less hours. Chris > > Davey's first day at camp! > > Davey took it all in stride as I was abit nervous about his first day at > camp.
