Guest guest
No, Roxanne, don't think so, all are welcome, maybe should just speak for myself, but interested in learning about all treatments, or what has worked, for anyone. My particular bent is more natural than medical, but, not ruling anything out, as long as it has a reasonable safety measure. That is one of the problems with treatment for ASD kids, each has their bent, then people segregate, then you only learn about what you are doing. Is the problem with the DAN! approach and the approach, too narrow. In my view ASD is a result of metal and viral/immune issues, we need all the ideas we can get. I can't be 100% certain, but as for me, not into just seeing what I am doing, but learning from all parents who are safely trying to do what we can to maximize our childrens' potential. Is okay, you don't have to do anything or supplement anything. What medications have you tried? Well, we have two boys with HFA. We've been through meds for each now. Clonidine for sleep (both) as well as the SSRI type meds such as prozac (didn't work), luvox (did work), ability (does work), zoloft (does work.) It was just something I noticed - that everyone else seems to be on diet/biomed type treatments and wondered if this was a list specifically for that since I don't do that.
