this?<<

It could be that you're dehydrated. You can go without protein for weeks

without feeling bad. You have plenty of nutrition in storage. Try to get

in more fluid and see if that helps.

i am no expert, but if it were me, i would be right back in my dr

office for consultation on whether or not you are too filled. i have

not had this situation, but if you cannot eat, that is not good.

Hey Melody,

I am so sorry you are having to wait so long. The only way I think I got in so fast was I pestered the crap out of them I called every day or other I was like you I couldn't wait to know a date, also I have a really large doughnut hole($2000) on my insurance and I finally reached it so I wanted to go ahead and do it now if at all possiable. I think I got lucky that the dr's office took this into account and worked with me to get in faster. Now I only have 2 more days to wait and I get more nervous every day. Quick question for you did your ENT say that frequent headaches have something to do with this thing getting closer to the brain? Reason I ask is I started having migraines 2 years ago and the little guy at the surgons office asked if I had been having headaches to but he did not explain why he was asking. Hope your wait won't be too long now keep giving them a call you don't want them to forget you are

there.

Hope this finds you well

Malerie

Hi all, Here I am again, Ive been reading daily and watching how everyone is doing.Me? Not so good. Nothing has been done, I was diagnosed with Ctoma hmm, October I think(which took at least 4.5 months to get to the appointment date, I knew something was wrong big time since before summer) and I am still waiting to hear back from the surgeon who is 8 hours away. I called myself a month ago and receptionist said that they would call me when they had surgery time, sometime in the new year. Said that being a big trip to take, they will consult me on Tuesday and Surgery Wednesday, and I should be able to go home by Friday. yuck, now just getting there. (Thank goodness I wont have to go down more than once!)I cant stand waiting, I read through your posts and everyone seems to be moving along nicely, in for surgery right away. I myself, am not sure to the extent of my ctoma, since it burst my ear drum, I am assuming BIG, ENT said that it showed

bone deterrioration, how much I have no clue. The ENT in town here said that he didnt feel comfortable doing the operation as he thinks that the ctoma is reflecting the sound and that my hearing is better now than what he would leave me with (basically hes gunna go in and hack away and clean EVERYTHING out, said that with Dr. - north van, that that is his expertice and that if he needs to take everything it will be more understanding, since thats what does- sorry ramble there!)SO! What I am asking is when is it too much?I am still in pain daily.Still feel as though I have an ear infection a week- should I be going in to the ENT? Or my general doc, I know that the meds wont do anything, but I havent been diagnosed in my left ear.. so wouldnt the meds do something for that ear- which is feeling worse and worse everyday (ctoma? please no!) I wonder at what kind of a pain you will feel if it does go into your brain? should i

be worrying about this? I AM! The ENT said that if the headaches are getting more frequent to go back in and see him... I feel as though from stress I have a headache everyday. How to distinguish what is CToma related and what is stress.ANDShould I really be waiting? I guess I have to, there is no other option.Would you recommend that everytime I get an ache or headache, I call the ENT? My doc, walk in clinic?Any advice is appriciated, just feel as though Im doing nothing and everyone else is going for their surgery! ACK! thanks,Melody

Good Luck to you Malorie!

And thanks for your response. Im having a hard time with my situation as I need

to work to get unemplyment. I am a seasonal worker and need to have enough

hours, crossing my fingers that I can make it to March, or that, that is when my

surgery is. Then Hubby can come with me!! We are both off work for 3 months mid

march. So I am fighting myself everyday about phoning and bugging to get in

sooner. Its my health and my job.. hard times!

Another Question. One that I keep putting into the back of my mind.

I have been trying to get pregnant since March(still not:( ) has anyone pregnant

every experienced this? Should I go back to not trying until after surgery? Can

I even get surgery done. I think the reason I havent asked my doc is that Im

afraid he will tell me to NOT keep trying, I used BC so it takes 6 months to get

proper again, and Id just scream if I found out I was pregnant and then found

out surgery date, and doc said NO:(

Thanks again!
