Hi Riley and Michele;

In my case the C-toma had erroded the skull and a small piece was

attached to the lining of the brain. My surgeon carefully lifted in

off and closed the 'hole' with some of the bone chips from the

mastoid. So, in my case it was not actually 'in the brain', but,

like Riley phrased it'resting on the brain.

Just returned from my 6 week post op. He suctioned it and said it

was healing nicely. 'Come back in three months'; 'keep it dry',

and, 'cut back on the drops to every other day'. 'Call me if you

have any problems.'

Hope all have a happy holiday.

when it has invaded the brain. I mean, how do they remove it from

the brain w/o damaging the brain, or is it damaged slightly just

from the c-toma sitting on it?
