Finally time to breathe.. and brag a little..

I hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! It was nice..

but a bit warmer than I care for personally.

My sister was married a week ago and I have to brag.. we were so

worried about my son.. he is the only little boy in the family so

naturally my sister was wanting her nephew as the ring bearer. At

the rehearsal he wouldn't even enter the sanctuary.. just screamed

and threw himself around and ran.. complete meltdown... even though

I had him practicing walking down the aisle in the church when no

one was there and then again the sunday before the wedding before

service started so that he could do it with people there.. he did

great then.. the day of the wedding.. we bit our fingers trying to

see what he would do.. and he did absolutely wonderful! We had such

a good day... of course we kinda let him wander and do whatever

after he walked down and delivered the rings.. with pillow in one

hand and his sippy cup in the other.. he sat nicely.. he sang.. and

wandered around the alter a bit while vows were being said.. but no

meltdowns! He stood in a few pictures.. did very well at the

pictures outside in the park..and then danced the night away at the

reception... we were in shock.. the good kind.. we can't say enough

how proud we are of him! Just one good day like this makes some

of the rougher days fade out of memory.

I posted 3 pictures from the wedding in my little file.. my sister

had a fairy tale themed wedding.. my daughter had fairy wings she

wore with her dress.. in place of a tux (which we really didnt want

to fight him to wear) we made a prince costume for my son.. and then

the rest of us were in formal gear.. it was a lovely day.. both

the wedding. and as a proud mommy!!
