Guest guest
I'm a little confused, my son is due for his first op in about a month, they have said they will fit the first part of the BAHA at the same time as the C/toma op, what i find strange is that the otologist has said that the surgery itself could cause possible permanent deafness, so why bother with the BAHA fitment if this is the case? Sorry if I sound stupid, i'm new to all this and it has been a shock to me about my son which i don't think has sunk in yet. Thanks & Re: Surgery Update - Postop Day 1 Yes it was my 1st for Ctoma, had a CWD and they repaired my eardrum too. I've been a bit drowsy/sleepy/all around tired and I'm starting to feel my ear a bit - not the funnest but once again, not the worst experience I've been through. > > > > Hi All,> > > > Well I went to the hospital yesterday.
