You look amazing, Wow when you reach your goal weight you will be awesome. your old size is what I am now, I hope I will be able to look that good again. I am in the process of choosing a doctor.

WOW! you look great. I can tell you have been working the band. I hope I can learn from your example. I was banded 2 1/2 weeks ago on the 20th of July and I am down about 14 lbs. I still have along way to go. I hope once I can eat real food and get my first fill that the weight will continue to drop. I can't wait for my first fill :0)

I finally got my monthly picture taken by my son and put it on my web site. http://www.tracyslapband.com/photo.htm I put a comparison section there and it is amazing, even to me, that I used to look like that. I also broke through my “stuckness” and have lost 3 lbs in 2 days not even trying. (I love it when that happens). I have actually been on a 4 day vacation this weekend with Friday and Monday off so I have been eating more than usual but eating healthy. I can’t believe I am 9 lbs away from hitting my most important goal, which is to get below 200lbs by my birthday in October. I feel I just may do it this month or certainly by September. I am loving my band!!

Yes, the grow so quickly and we were so in the middle of dealing with everything that it passed by too fast in some cases. I noticed we have very few photos the few years we were doing ABA as well.

Hi Sheila, the after pic was taken in Hawaii, the scenery in the

background is the famous Diamond Head, and the beach is Waikiki. The

sad thing about all this is, I met my husband in 2000 when I was slim,

and since then got the DD and put on all this weight, I think he got a

raw deal really. But I feel better since he got it as well.

I have put up a sort of story of my life but I think I need to put

more detail of what stage of the illness I was in, basically its over

the years start to now when I became housebound Zombie Dawn of the

Dead 2008.

I don't have many old internet photos of myself so I put that one of

me in the deckchair up even though I look really rough lol. No

apologies make for peroxide blonde hair in second photo hehe.

Actually I think the pictures would tell any trained eye themselves

the stages of my disease, downward trend with a tiny remission for a

few months out of many, then down further, rotton it is.

I've been and had a look Dawn and what a story you have to tell in pictures. These are amazing and I only hope you can get back to that slim healthy girl once again. Keep posting, I want to see them gradually getting better and better instead of worse and worse. Why can't our doctors SEE the changes in us and start asking WHY these changes have come about?

I am a tryer, if I don't get better it won't be for want of that.

I dunno why they can't tell, maybe they are just tired of streams of

sick people pouring in through their doors and cannot be bovvered.

Perhaps they become hard, or perhaps they lose heart when they don't

manage to get folk right and decide its not worth it. In either of

those cases it is time for retirement.

I am sure my doc really wants me to get well but doesn't know how to

treat me. According to my records I am a loony, fat, fatigued and

asthmatic, hypothyroid, moaning, menopausal female, he probably never

really knew where to start. Bless im. I get angry about him, but

because of the lack of expertise in this matter I kind of understand.

The endo makes my blood boil though lol.

I too have been and had a look and wow what a story they tell, why do you feel you are housebound Dawn?

I dont have photos of myself, well I do, but wouldnt know if they were while I was hypo and un diagnosed or not and to be honest I dont think the 'after' pic is here yet! I am hoping one day it will be!

Hi Dawn,

Your 25yr old piccy (bridesmaid) puts you in the 'estrogenic' class,

well proportioned for maternity.

I suspect that L-thyroxine doesn't suit ladies in the higher estrogen

ranges ~ especially post-natally, even more so, menopausally and

beyond.....

in one of the more recent piccys, it shows how ill you felt, in your

face......and the post-Armour (start) piccy is very encouraging,

again, your face says something has improved.

I guess the problem will be getting all the estrogen safely out of

those cells......did you get any idea what were the circulating

levels of estrogen?
