Guest guest
Being that we're from Wichita - my husband was seen by a doctor from KU - Dr. Hinrich Staecker MD He's got a really good team there and the young doctor that actually did the surgery on my husband at the VA works for Dr. Staecker. I loved his personality and his professionalism. Just as soon as the surgery was over he came right out and talked to me in words that I could fully understand. I don't know what your full situation is right now, but if you're in the Kansas City Metro area, the KU team is really worth checking out. Hope this helps From: ksboheem <ksboheem@...>cholesteatoma Sent: Wednesday, January 7, 2009 11:15:16 AMSubject: Dr suggestions for Kansas City area? Guest guest
I used Dr. Luetje for my 4 c-toma sugeries. Excellent bedside manner, " the best I've seen " is a quote from my wife who works in health care. Very experienced and a pleasure to talk to. On my first visit he spent about 3 hrs with me. First the exam, then he educated me, then we developed long term game plan to address everything. He is Dr. Thedinger's partner at the Otologic Center in Kansas City. I would highly recommend him. http://www.otologiccenter.com/B1_Bio-cml.htm Thanks, Jeff > > Hi all, Does anyone in this group have a Dr suggestion for the Kansas > City area? Guest guest
I just thought I'd see if there was any interesting groups concerning Cholesteatomas...and here it is. I am commenting on your comments, because I have having surgery on my left ear this next Tuesday. This is my sixth surgery and the doctors here in Wichita have decided to send me to a specialist. I am using Dr Hinrich Staecker. Hope this helps.
