Guest guest
Hi, I am new - joined today. My son is 8. He is in public school right now, but I homeschooled him two years and did enroll him in OHDELA before deciding to public school him (got pregnant with number 4 and went emotionally nuts). I have a friend who is researching what to do with her autistic son whom she homeschooled last year in K. She is going to do an electronic school next year. I am sure she is willing to share with you her research on which school is best - please email me off list so I can give you her address. > > I am wondering if anyone in this group has enrolled their child (ren) > in any of ohio's virtual academies or charter schools, and what that > has looked like. i no longer feel like i am as involved as i need to > be in my daughter's education, nor do I feel confident that the local > school district will do what needs to be done to close some of the > gaps my daughter is already facing as a kindergarten student. > i already know about the autism scholarship, and would like to pursue > that, but would like to explore all options available to me.
