Hearing Loss after surgery

Hi guys I just had my first surgery last Thursday, and it was in my

only hearing ear. The first few days were not that bad and I found i

could actually hear pretty well, considering. Now 4 days later it

feels like i am hearing worse. Do many of you find your hearing

worsened as time went on? I am hoping its only due to the packing/ear

getting filled up with fluid and blood. What should i expect as far as

hearing once the packing is removed - will it improve?
