We are getting ready for the March kindergarten registration. We have dreaded the vaccination exemption thing for a long time now.

Our county (Mahoning) does not provide you with a convenient form to opt out of the vaccinations. We are going for a religious exemption.

If any of you have gone the religious exemption route and would care to share, with me, exactly what you used, including the Ohio Revised Code section on exemptions, we would deeply appreciate your sharing with us what you wrote.

I am in Trumbull Co, but my son attends school in Mahoning Co. I simply wrote a letter stating that we have a philosophical/religious exemption and will not be vaccinating. There was no problem.
