2nd Post op report - Day 9

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know, especially those who are nervously

waiting for their ops, that 9 days after surgery I am feeling fine.

Externally, the wound is healing well - it's quite bumpy, I'm never

going to win a 'nice round perfect head' competition (no Persis

Khambatta for you Trekkies)

I'm getting some sharp shooting pains - a sort of neuralgia like

feeling, takes my breath away, but goes just as quickly.

Sleep is ok, I'm off all drugs and painkillers, even over the

counters.

Drainage is happening, but nothing too much, all is absorbed by my

good friend - the cotton wool ball.

Let me know if you want photos of each stage - I have them, happy to

post.

Good to know that recovery is going well.
