Any ideas on this? I've Q-Tipped the outer ear to remove ooze (been several days since I had to do that) but am stumped about how to get the crusties. Any advice welcome. Hi Alice, My 3 yr. old son, Noah, just had this surgury done and the doctor gave me ear drops to put in his ear to loosen everything up. I took a Q-tip with the stuff on it and worked on the outside of the ear. Eventually it all kind of wears off. :-) It is kind of gross looking in the meantime but I was afraid to pick at it too much and I didn't want to bother him. My son did wonderfully during and after his surgery, too. It was on 9/23 and he never whimpered or complained about it once to this day. His surgery was over 6 hours and was quite extensive because of where his c-tomo was located. He goes in for a hearing test this week and I am hopeful. I am glad to hear that everything is going well for your son. Corrie
Guest guest
Hello there Yes prior to my surgery I too was on a time schedule. Could barely eat anything for breakfast or lunch, but dinner time was slightly easier. Thought it was just me.
