Guest guest
, That really does not sound good at all. Have you phoned your doctor about these symptoms or the hospital? Before my surgery years ago, I had that dizziness while sitting and very bad pain in the back of the neck. They said the cholesteatoma was started to work it's way towards the brain, please go get this checked out right away and let us know how it goes. Especially when you are feeling tingling in the tongue, that is not good. Phone your doctor right away tomorrow. When that happened to me, they bumped my surgery up. Hope everything is well and let me know. Guest guest
, Sorry to hear about the problems you're having. I didn't have c-toma- -my son did. He never complained too much of dizziness or your other symptoms and his c-toma had begun to eat through his cranial wall. It's hard to say what causing your problems and I'm no medical expert; but, I have Menniere's disease and can tell you that I have the wrost vertigo imaginable. Everything spins in all directions at once and I can't sit up. Don't know which way up is and if I try I fall over. It makes me very nauseaus and if you try to force me to sit up I vomit violently. In addition when this happens I hear a shwishing/roaring noise during the vertigo attack. It's due to a build up of fluid in the choclea. As the fluid builds I get wicked headaches that radiate into my face and down my neck. It's like a warning to get my fluid levels and sodium levels under control. I also have constant tinunitis. There are alot of different conditions that can affect your ear and balance. You may have more going on than the c-toma. I would really push the doc to figure out what is causing it all. good luck! > > > hey all have been pretty bad off today the extreme dizzyness is back > and all the research ive been checking out looks to me might be > spinning vetigo so worried has spread to inner ear also tongue keeps > going numb and have recently been feeling alot of pain in back of > head and neck also makes me worry and wait theres more started to > feel some tingling in right side of cheek so as you can prob guess im > just litter worried. doc said ct scan was a little inconclusive and > wont know for sure how bad or whats going on till have surgury in > couple of weeks. any advice words of wisdom or anyone who has > experienced these type of syptoms before let me know please getting > very scard now thanks to all of you. > , Funkhouser
