I don't think the doctor called what I have a " middle ear cleft " --he

called it something else, and I can't even remember what he called

it. The bill I have says " foreign body in the middle ear cleft " . He

even asked if I had shoved a pea in my ear as a kid, and I told him I

didn't think so. Anyway, I'm relieved that it's not a cholesteatoma.
