The ctoma is in my inner ear and I was wondering if there was anyone out there who has heard of any alternatives to surgery? Would being treated in a naturopathic manner be a way of curing the ctoma? Hi Amber The only way of dealing with ctoma is by actual physical removal which usually means some kind of surgery. Ctoma is a kind free floating entity, it grows though not exactly as part of your body: it doesn't have a blood supply and is generally impervious to any kind of medication. The symptoms associated with ctoma are preetty much the result of the length of time it's been there. The longer you leave it the more certain you are to acquire problems. This disease could quickly get out of hand and cost you nerve damage to the hearing center of the ear(your balance and hearing), along with facial nerve damage, tinitus, and also cause a cranial fluid leak from your brain out your ear.
