I had my bout with cholesteatoma when I was 4, 40+ years ago. My Mom

sure could have used a support group back then.

All she heard was tumor and she freak-out. Me, I was 4, I got lots of

attention without having to fighting with my brother or sisters.

I still have the plastic rose (the bone replacement) in my left ear

and it is doing quite well. The doctor thought it might fall out when

I was about 10, but, it never did.

Now I need to go back and catch up on backpost.
