Guest guest Posted November 1, 2006 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 My son had another surgery. This was his second one. The cholestestoma grew back this time. It took out his eardrum, middle bone and some of his cochlear. He has another one in six months to see if the cholesteatoma grew back. So as of now he is deaf in his right ear.
