There's a matching service now available for parents who have children with autism, the service provides a directory of tutors for parents and a directory for tutors to find parents. This list goes all over the US. There's a decent list of people in our area too. See the site for more info. Also, they have a free seminar for registered parents coming up. See details below.

We are very excited to offer our first FREE seminar to you. We are hosting Marilyn Chadwick, Clinical Director and Speech Pathologist @ Syracuse University in New York, an expert and trainer in Facilitated Communication, and Burke, an 18 year old producer of "Inside the Edge," a film about his experiences with Facilitated Communication and how it helped him to be able to communicate as an autistic child. Ms. Chadwick will help to dispel some of the myths of FC, and Mr. Burke will show the wonderful effectiveness of this technique in the right hands.
