Colleen,

I think what you are doing is exactly right. I had a similar

experience with my previous district, but they didn't fight me too

much because they knew I knew my rights (we fought over big stuff)

If an aide is needed during the regular school year, then one is just

as necessary during the summer. I personally would not sign the IEP

until they can come up with a solution.
