Guest guest
- I've not been to the Mentor location, but I imagine they provide the same services as when they were in Warrensville Hts. Speech therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, social kids group, etc. My favorite part of the social kids group was when we moms would sit in the waiting room and talk. It was like an informal support group!! We knew where the other moms were coming from. We all had the same, or similar, experiences. It was good to hear the different angles other moms had. My son also had ESY services at ITC the past 2 summers. The speech language pathologist at ITC would work on the same goals that he had worked on during the school year. If you're moving to Mentor, you might want to consider visiting ITC! Guest guest
Hello , Basically, the Autism Scholarship Program gives parents the option for their child to attend a program other than that in their own school district to receive services outlined in a child' IEP. The child must qualify and providers must be approved. I believe the cost limit is $20,000 per year. I am only able to give you basics about the Ohio Autism Scholarship Program. You might have more specific questions. A great deal of information can be found on the Ohio Department of Education's website: www.ode.state.oh.us Their website is sometimes difficult to navigate. I found it easiest to go the the ODE website and use their " Search " box at the top right hand corner. I just type in Autism Scholarship Program. I hope this is helpful to you! e Sweet ---- Biehl <angelabiehl@...> wrote: > Can I ask what is the Autism Scholarship program?
