Guest guest
I received heart. Guest guest
Try Snorkeling I know it's not the same, but it's a great substitute. You don't have to go deep to enjoy. That is what I have done to replace diving. I use a product called ear pillows, like a putty stuff in the ear and then a cap. Works great for me! Guest guest
Hey all. Havent been to this site in a few years.....I was diagnosed with this 8 yrs ago but wasnt told at the time that it was serious...and the doctor never made me come back.....so blast ahead a few years and I go to a different doc who tells me to get surgery....but still no info given to me on what i actually have till i find this site.i was just told everytime that i had c toma, and that i needed surgery.I havent got surgery yet, cuz i was breast feeding my daughter at the time...now i finally got her off the boob and i am terrified to go back...truthfully. I have no idea what the heck my point was in this whole messege....umm maybe just wanted to get it off my chest cuz i felt guilty, i dunno! =) I know I have to go back to the docs. I am scared of the cost and scared of the whole deal. I am super bummed that no matter what I do with this...that i was told i am never to free dive again....being from hawaii .....and growing up in the ocean...thats like ripping my heart out.... thanx for listening to me moan. big hugs! Guest guest
Hi, You don't want to wait too long. I am a mom of three and I just kept making excuses that I was too busy to go in and I lost two of my ear bones. The operation isn't that bad and I was back on my feet and driving two days after the operation. You owe it to yourself and your kids to get it checked out. Hugs,
Guest guest
HIYA back, On a recent episode of Dr. Oz he recommends cayenne pepper for ulcers. If I can find the link I will send it. One would think that it would add fuel to the fire, but not according to Oz. Guest guest
Deborah couldn't find it on Dr. Oz. But if you do a google search several links come up. Here is one from Dr. Weil. http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA352656 Donna > > > > Hiya, Felow Achalasians, > > > > I was supposed to received an antibiotic for my nasty lower E. ulcer > > but the pharmacy called me and said that the Rx had erythromycin in it > > (and I'm allergic to that.....) so I called Dr. Conklin's office and left word > > that I'd like a different drug. Guest guest
I also had severe ulcers and inflammation in my lower E and have been taking Carafate slurry and am having good results; it tastes like bubble gum, an added plus. You take 10 ML's, which is basically a teaspoon, four times a day. I asked for one of those little measuring cups from the pharmacy initially and once I got a feel for how much it was in my mouth I just take a swig from the bottle now. The bottles for a 10 day supply are fairly large but one time I got a partial fill (40 ML), as it was all they had, in a nice little bottle that fits in my purse so I kept it and refill it to carry w/me to take during the day and am now able to take it much more regularly, as I should. If you don't have another small bottle to use I would ask for one. Works great. Carafate works by contact w/the infected area not thru the bloodstream so I only take it if I'm not going to be eating or drinking for awhile. Just to be sure to shake it well as it settles. For anyone else w/any kind of GI ulceration/inflammation it is good for anything the whole way thru to intestines and all. It wasn't until I changed GI's that it was recommended to me for which I am very thankful.
