Guest guest
We've got a 9yo girl who has been diagnosed since 2 with a severe sensorineural hearing loss and is aided in both ears. She has had numerous infections in her right ear for a number of years and now our new ENT has suggested she probably has a cholestaetoma. We are trying to find out as much as possible. Can anyone help us with the aftercare of surgical removal of a cholestaetoma. How does this affect the quality of life eg : swimming, showers etc. Also what effect on hearing does it have and would it affect a cochlear implant in the future. Lot's of questions I know but we want to be prepared before we talk to the professor. Thanks Jayney
